Food stations, are an increasingly popular option where small tables are set up around the room. The spread-out location of the food helps encourage the guests to mingle. You want the stations to be accessible from all angles, and make sure there's someplace for each guest to sit. Food Stations are a wonderful way to encourage a greater amount of mingling
For a fun, lively touch, you can give each good station a different theme and type of food. We can decorate them with floral displays and unique serving pieces for a truly eye-catching effect. Food stations might include: a beautiful display of cheeses with bread and fresh fruits displayed in baskets, and ice carved boat filled with jumbo shrimp and crab legs, also with Potato bar either mashed or baked with toppings that would include bacon, caramelized onions, grated cheese, assorted cheeses, leeks and sour cream, a chef carving a roast, serving hot won tons from a wok, or a chicken dish made right in front of the guests' eyes. Also consider cold cuts, pates and spreads, sushi, pasta, or breakfast bar where guests can choose their fillings, a small grill, and an espresso bar. You might also consider having a particular signature beverage station. For example, a margarita, daiquiri, or martini station where guests can design their own drinks. |
